Fun with Paper Mache: Create Your Own Craft!

What You Need:

• Newspapers
• Flour
• Water
• Balloon
• Paint (optional)
• Varnish (optional)

Steps to Create Your Paper Mache Project:

1. Tear the newspaper into small strips.
2. In a bowl, mix 1 part flour with 2 parts water to make a paste.
3. Blow up the balloon. This will be the shape of your craft.
4. Dip the newspaper strips in the paste and stick them on the balloon, overlapping them.
5. Let it dry for 24 hours. Once dry, pop the balloon and remove it.
6. You can now paint and decorate your paper mache craft!

Safety Tip:

Be careful while using scissors to cut the newspaper. Always ask an adult for help!
