Independence Day is a special day for India. Every year on August 15, we celebrate our freedom. Why not make this day even more colorful and memorable? Let’s create some fun crafts to show our love for our country!

Materials Needed:

• Colored paper (saffron, white, green)
• Scissors
• Glue
• Markers or crayons
• Glitter (optional)
• String (for hanging)

Steps to Create a Tri-Color Paper Flag:

1. Take a piece of white paper. This will be the base of your flag.
2. Cut the saffron and green paper into long strips. They should be the same width.
3. Glue the saffron strip at the top of the white paper.
4. Glue the green strip at the bottom, leaving the white space in the middle.
5. Now, take a blue marker and draw a chakra in the center of the white part.
6. Let everything dry. You can hang your flag using a piece of string!

Safety Tip:

When using scissors, be careful and ask an adult for help if you’re unsure.
