Crafting the National Flag
Independence Day is a special day for all Indians. It reminds us of our freedom. We can celebrate by creating beautiful crafts. Here’s how to make a National Flag using simple materials!
Materials Needed
- Tri-colour paper (saffron, white, green)
- Glue
- Scissors
- Stick or straw for holding
- Black marker
Steps
- Cut the saffron paper into a rectangle size of 10×20 cm.
- Cut the white paper into the same size and glue it below the saffron piece.
- Now cut the green paper into a rectangle, same size, and glue it below the white piece.
- With the black marker, draw a wheel (Ashoka Chakra) in the center of the white part.
- Paste the flag onto a stick or straw to hold it up.
- Your National Flag is ready to wave high!

Be careful while using scissors. Ask an adult for help if needed.
